Girls Empowerment Conference, Greater Seattle Area!

Betty Makoni will present a workshop to girls, ages 14-21 to cultivate self-confidence and leadership skills on Sunday, Sept. 25, 11AM to 5 PM at a private location in Bellevue.  Address and location will be given upon registration.

Makoni is the founder and director of Girl Child Network Worldwide and was named the 2009 CNN Hero for her powerful work with young girls survivors of violence in her native country Zimbabwe.

The Conference: The focus of this conference is to inform girls about GCNW and get them excited about starting their own empowerment clubs.  We will also help potential girl club leaders understand ways they can cultivate and use inherent leadership skills to further empower themselves and others around them.

The workshop is $30, which is donated to the Girl Child Network Worldwide. http://www.girlchildnetworkworldwide.org/
